This pack contains 3 key ingredients used by wine, cider and mead makers as follows:

Young's Dried Active Brewing Yeast (100g resealable tub): this standard form of active yeast can be used for beer, wine, cider or mead. Simply sprinkle on the surface of the must and stir. The usual dosage is 1 heaped teaspoon per gallon, though check your recipe as recommended amounts of yeast may vary.

Young's Yeast Nutrient (100g resealable tub): this is a popular and reliable homebrew additive designed to ensure rapid, complete fermentation for wines and beers. Yeast Nutrient provides the essential minerals and vitamins needed to prevent sluggish or stuck fermentations, particularly in low-nutrient fruit wines. The usual dosage is 1 level teaspoon per gallon but check your recipe, particularly if you're using the Super Wine Yeast Compound too as some yeast nutrient is included in that blend.

Young's Campden Tablets (50 tablets in a resealable tub): Youngs Campden Tablets are widely used by homebrewers to sterilise the must/wort, inhibit wild yeast and bacteria, and prevent wine, cider and mead from oxidising and/or being contaminated whilst bottling. Often one crushed tablet per gallon is added at the end of fermentation. It can also be used to remove chlorine from water, plus it acts as a preservative to ensure stability of the final homemade drinks. Some people also use Campden Tablets to clean and sterilise equipment.
