- Japanese Spicy Seasoning Yuzu Kosho is a traditional all-purpose seasoning in Japan. This intensely spicy red Yuzu Kosho is made in the birthplace of Yuzu Kosho, Oita Prefecture, Japan, using a traditional coarse grind method. It offers a stimulating flavor and is recommended for those who enjoy spicy foods.
- Intense Spiciness and Umami When you put it in your mouth, you'll experience the powerful heat of red chili peppers and the refreshing aroma of fully ripened yuzu. This seasoning not only delivers intense spiciness but also has a deep and flavorful taste with a rich aroma.
- Home-grown Crops We use yuzu and red chili peppers cultivated in private farm. The yuzu comes from the peel of fully ripened and fragrant yellow yuzu. Yuzu peel contains higher nutritional content than the pulp, with nutrients such as vitamin C and pectin.
- No Food Additives Ingredients are only red chili peppers, yuzu peel and salt. We do not use chemical seasonings, colorings, or preservatives. Our product is also free from allergens such as gluten and dairy. It is recommended for vegans as well.
- Versatile for Various Dishes This seasoning enhances spiciness with just a small amount. It elevates the heat and flavor of a variety of dishes, including simmered dishes, Japanese stew, udon, pasta, yakitori, gyoza, and stir-fried vegetables.
