Most definitely a British favourite, cod is a flaky white fish with a meaty texture and subtle flavour when cooked. These cod fillets taste wonderful when poached or baked, fried or battered. Fry spinach and wild garlic in a pan and stir until they start to wilt, then serve the cod fillet cooked to your preference, ontop for a wonderfully simple and light dinner.
