Description
- Net weight: 100g, (Roughly 10-11 PCs Tea ball). All of the teas supplied by WellTea have been carefully selected from the finest tea plantations and farms of Japan and China. They have all been chosen after a careful in-house quality assessment, which covers the way in which they are cultivated and packaged, as well as their aroma and taste.
- Your living room or kitchen will come alive to the scents and sights of spring when enjoying a pot of this delightful oriental WellTea. Our Spring Marigold Flowering Tea combines the golden colour of marigolds with mao feng green tea leaves to create a highly fragrant and beautiful display of colour in a glass teapot. Simply add one of the carefully wrapped tea buds to boiled water and enjoy watching the flowers emerge like a flower blooming in spring time.
- Marigold flowers originally come from Europe and are known for their health benefits as well as their bright yellow colour. Some of their uses in alternative therapy include lowering a high temperature, reducing toxins in the body and improving hair, digestion and skin quality.
- Partnering the marigold petals in our Spring Marigold Flowering Tea are the green mao feng tea leaves grown in the Hulin area of Fujian province. This area is famous for its tea plantations and the quality of the green tea leaves grown there. This is due to its 1840 hours of sunshine per year and pleasant year round average temperature of 18.5 degrees celsius, which are the idyllic conditions for growing the leaves in this WellTea.
- Over the two to three minutes it takes to brew, the bud will unfurl to release the marigold flowers that are locked inside on a bed of green tea leaves. This creates an underwater bouquet and releases their flower fragrance to delight the nostrils as well as the eyes, which is sure to bring some happiness to your day.
