Description
- Soursop, also known as graviola, guanabana, and guyabano is a delicious fruit in high demand because of the health benefits it's believed to have.
- We will select fruits as close as possible to the weight you have ordered. We always aim to be accurate to +/-5%.
- The flavour of the soursop fruit has been described as a combination of strawberry and pineapple, with citrus flavour notes contrasting with an underlying creamy texture reminiscent of coconut and banana!
- Soursop must be kept at room temperature or warmer to ripen. Once the fruit is ripe (soft all over), you must then store in the refrigerator for around 5-7 days; alternatively you can eat once ripe.
- We choose to source soursop from the Caribbean island of St Lucia or Sri Lanka. These countries produce high quality soursop with a delicious sweeter flavour and a smaller amount of fibre compared to fruits of other origin.

The flavour of the soursop fruit has been described as a combination of strawberry and pineapple, with citrus flavour notes contrasting with an underlying creamy texture reminiscent of coconut and banana! We choose to source soursop from the Caribbean island of St Lucia or Sri Lanka. These countries produce high quality soursop with a delicious sweeter flavour and a smaller amount of fibre compared to fruits of other origin. Soursop must be kept at room temperature or warmer to ripen. Once the fruit is ripe (soft all over), you must then store in the refrigerator for around 5-7 days; alternatively you can eat once ripe. We recieve fresh shipments of Soursop Mondays & Tuesdays. Also known as: Graviola, guanabana, guyabano, sirsak, durian belanda, bullock's heart, prickly custard apple, and soursap. Preparation Usually, after 1-4 days, the soursop will be soft to very soft. This indicates the fruit is ripe and ready to eat. The skin may brown during ripening. Simply slice in half and scoop out the white flesh. The skin, seeds and core aren't eaten. Usage Soursop is usually eaten raw for its taste and health benefits. It also makes a delicious juice and is sometimes used to make ice cream and other desserts Order weight We will select fruits as close as possible to the weight you have ordered. We always aim to be accurate to +/-5%. Please note as the warmer summer temperatures are here it's possible that your soursop will arrive soft and ripe. Unfortunately there is very little we can do to slow down the ripening of this fruit. If you do not want to receive soft ripe soursop please do not order, you may wish to consider the frozen soursop instead.
