The biggest selling biltong spice mix. This is a commercial package and is meant to be used quickly. 40g of seasoning per kg of meat, so this 2kg bag will spice 50kg of meat - please keep this in mind.. If you find it too salty, use less. Please don't complain that a salt product is too salty as some have in feedback. If your tea is too sweet, add less sugar - simples. This product does contain MSG (so does your meat you are spicing, cheese and tomatoes to name a few). Does not contain E363

Ingredients

Flavour Blend [Salt, Colourants (E150c, E172), Flavourings (Celery), Sugar, MSG (Flavour Enhancer (E621), Hydrogenated Vegetable Fat (Palm Fruit), Acidity Regulator (E330), Spice Extract (TBHQ (E319)], Salt, Spices, Preservative (Potassium Sorbate E202), Sugar

Directions

Cut the meat into strips and weigh. Calculate spice required @ 45g/kg of cut meat. Optional: add Worchester Sauce or Vinegar or both @ 50g per 100g meat. Jimmys Sauce can also be added to taste. Mix the meat and spice well, cover and refrigerate overnight. Hang to dry.
