Product description

Microbial coagulant, mucorpepsin, produced by submerged fermentation on a vegetable substrate with a select strain of the fungus Rhizomucor miehei kept under contained conditions and not present in the final product. This is a double-strength microbial rennet that does not contain animal foods. Non-GMO and gluten free. Microset microbial rennet derived from Mucormiehei. This rennet is suitable for making vegetarian cheese. Use 1 Tsp (5 ml) for 2 gallons of milk. Add directly to milk. >How to use Microset 50ml> 1.Warm GRADUALLY, on LOW HEAT 2 Gallons of milk to 95F (or depending on cheese type). 2.Add the 5ml of rennet to the warmed milk and stir for up to 1 min to ensure that it is well mixed. 3.Leave the milk to stand with NO STIRRING or AGITATION until it has set (approximately 45 min) For smaller quantities of milk use 2ml of rennet only.

Directions

Warm 2 gallons of milk to 95F (35C). Add 5ml of rennet and stir for up to 1 minute. Leave the milk to stand for approximately 45 minutes until it has set.
