The natural alternative to conventional detergent.

The wash nuts are traditionally hand-crafted from the washnut trees shaken, sorted, opened and separated on spread cloths. The core is removed, because only the shells contain the active ingredient saponin.

- Due to the very mild washing performance, stubborn stains must be pre-treated. Here we recommend the Sapdu-Clean stain away rollon.
- Wash nuts are free of optical brighteners, so white laundry can get a grey cast over time and should be treated with wash soda or similar.
- The washnut shells contain natural tannins. If the bowls are too long contact and wet laundry, it can cause stains. By removing the laundry immediately after the end of the washing program, you avoid any discolouration of the textiles.

How to use: simply add approx. 6 wash nut halves in the cotton bag and place it in the drum. The wash nut halves can be used twice at a washing temperature of up to 40C. You can put the washnut bowls on the compost after washing as they are 100% biodegradable.
