Just like the Original Cassis, Cassis Zero is made from blackcurrants from the Netherlands, but sweetened with sweeteners for a low calorie count. Just like in 1938, the blackcurrants for Hero Cassis still come from the fertile clay soil in Zeeland. After harvesting, they are destemmed, crushed and pressed by the berry grower. They are then subjected to a natural fermentation process in which hidden aroma and flavor components are released. Hero Cassis Zero owes its full, round taste to this. Note: A deposit on cans and bottles for water, soft drinks, beer, and other low alcoholic drinks has been introduced in the Netherlands. You can only return the empty cans and bottles in the Netherlands.
