Hedgerow Spirits Rhubarb & Raspberry Gin, 40% ABV, Handmade In Small Batches 12 Botanicals, Delicious And Delightfully Refreshing With No Added Sugar, Green And Fruity Aroma, 5 cl

Description

• FLAVOUR: Palate - bone dry with background fruit & herb notes, but with clear gin character; Nose - green and fruity aroma, with a gentle sweetness mixed with juniper; Finish - dry with subtle & delightful fruity notes
• PERFECT SERVE: Elderflower tonic, garnish with Raspberries & mint with lots of ice. Unlike a lot of rhubarb gins which have added sugar, ours is bone-dry; as a gin should be. A slightly sweeter tonic then brings the fruity elements to the fore.
• BOTANICALS: Juniper, coriander, angelica, orris & bay with six botanicals foraged from the farm and local hedgerows: crab apple, rosehip, elderflower, nettle leaf & wildflower meadow hay. Stones from the spent fruit from our sloe gin.
• SUSTAINABILITY: We came from the hedgerows... Sustainability and nature are at the heart of the business. We use 21st century responsible distilling & traditional steeping, minimising our impact on the planet and respecting time-honoured methods.
• ABOUT US: Founded in 2002, Sloemotion Distillery is an artisan business creating great tasting spirits & liqueurs. We are based at Green Farm, just north of York and near to the market town of Malton, Yorkshires food capital.

Product Description

We were keen to champion rhubarb; a much-celebrated local product. Sourced from the Yorkshire Rhubarb Triangle, we experimented to see what the crimson and green stems, with a few raspberries, were like blended with our Hedgerow Gin; we found we rather enjoyed the results. Unlike a lot of rhubarb gins which have added sugar, ours is bone-dry; as a gin should be. A slightly sweeter tonic then brings the fruity elements to the fore.
