Product description

White gelatin Finely chopped clear gelatin is a product of animal origin, with various ways of use, which serves as a hardener for jellies, aspic, cake creams. By heating followed by cooling, the gelatin binds to water, forming a consistent elastic gel. One sachet of gelatin is enough for 500 ml of liquid. Tips: 1. Boiling destroys gelatin. 2. We recommend increasing the amount of gelatin when using many sour fruits or using them in combination with less sour fruits. 3. Raw fruits such as pineapple, papaya, kiwi or figs should be scalded before being used in jellies.

Directions

To use Dr. Oetker Finely Grated Clear Gelatine, add one sachet (10g) to 500ml of liquid. Heat the mixture until the gelatin dissolves, but do not boil as it will destroy the gelatin. Allow the mixture to cool and form a gel. For best results, scald raw fruits like pineapple, papaya, kiwi, or figs before using them in jellies.
