In 1960, at the age of 14, Josep Maria Termens asked his grandfather to go to Reus to get a good price for the hazelnuts from their familys fields. Within a few years, Josep was buying the nuts from other local farmers and processing them in his garage. Now, over fifty years later, Josep remains in charge. Either overseeing the work of his team of seven, or selling in his shop, he takes great pride in the company he created as a young boy. His exceptional range of nuts includes bestselling almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts and kikones. These are still hand processed in small batches, whether fried, toasted, salted or caramelised.
